I h a v e t i m e . . .

Today, as I’m lying in Hyde Park in London, just with a book, wasting time in such an amazing city with a book I could read on any rainy day, I realized, again, what a big luxury I have… Time.

I have nothing to do today, nowhere to be, nothing to see, just be and do whatever I please. And I decided to spend this time on a blanket in Hyde Park, with my travel novel about Australia, reading, watching the planes fly in on their descent into LHR.

I have done trips where I tried to max out the available time by cramming as much fun/shopping/sightseeing into it as possible, often coming back from the weekend or the holidays utterly exhausted.

And while it’s all fun, you can get into that treadmill of maximizing your leisure time in the most ‘efficient’ way…

The year ahead will be different.
