I woke up pretty late – I sleep well in this bed – to the sound of pouring rain. The water was running down my street in front of my window.

I spent most of the day inside and on the couch, reading, and eating. I only went to the supermarket to get some fruit, and later on a stroll around for some fresh air, as the rain had stopped.

I spent the last two days updating my music collection. During this trip I have heard so many great songs, noted down the titles or found them on Shazam, it was a huge list….

With the rain, I figured I could finally download them and put them on my playlist. After all, they’re the soundtrack to this trip.

Maybe I should figure out that Spotify thing finally and add a playlist here. I’m sure it can be done…

It is Friday night, I should go out, bar hopping, exploring Istanbul nightlife… But I think I can’t be bothered, I’m tired from lying around…

Tomorrow, Sabine will arrive in the late afternoon, I’ll get her from the airport, and then the sightseeing starts.
