The flight was ok, I was a bit late at the airport. I’m a bit bummed that I had to pay that 25$ luggage fee for my one bag.

The staff at the check-in (only one person at business/first, who was totally overloaded) did not know that it could be waived – as it always has been when I travelled internationally on another ticket within a certain time frame….

And time was running out so I grudgingly paid it. But I really hate that policy where they lure you in with a seemingly low price and then every other thing gets an extra fee.

For example: the new United entertainment system. You want to watch anything? Be our guest, for 5.99$ on a flight of less than two hours, and only 7.99$ for flights longer than that.

Want to see the map and the flight info? Pay for it! Or, alternatively you can log into our wifi-system and see that info for free on the united.com website, the only free accessible one.

If you have a laptop or tablet with you. Really? Next time they will charge for the ice. Or for sitting down.
