Today I took a walk though the neighborhood of Palermo, a big area that has several little areas, Palermo Viejo, Palermo Hollywood, Palermo Soho…. It is one of the city’s hubs for cafés and bars at night, little shopping boutiques during the day and full of street art.

 

I was with Pablo, a young Porteño artist who showed me around.

The weather was fantastic, the company nice, the coffee was good and I could discover the newest Porteño street art…

 

We ended it with a stroll through Jardín Botánico, the city’s beautiful botanical garden that is just starting to wake up.

Spring time in Buenos Aires.

The garden is home to a growing number of abandoned cats, that, especially in the holiday time, are let lose in the garden… A volunteer group now feeds them, takes care of vaccines and is looking for new homes for them.
