And here are the details on the budget spent in Bangkok.
Again, this city is not really comparable, as I did not have to spend anything for accommodation, thanks to Daria’s generosity.
I had a top-notch place with pool, without ruining myself. A hotel would have cost around 200 Euro.
So here are the final figures for the week in Bangkok:
120 € eating out & drinks
60 € supermarkets
35 € transport
15 € other expenses (phone, massages, etc…)
5 € cultural activities, entry fees, etc…
0 € accommodation
All in all, 235 Euro. Supermarkets were more expensive, as I bought a couple of bottles of wine, as gifts to the various parties I was invited to, and two thirds of the transport comes form the taxi rides to the airport.
Technically, my hotel was entitled to collect the first night’s price, as I canceled it a day too late, but they haven’t done that so far. Maybe they will overlook…
In total, I’m therefore 295 Euro under budget, a little relief after Hong Kong. I hope I can save some more money in India.
