Santiago by night

These are the first pictures of Santiago, from my window and the roof top. I’m in Providencia, on one of the main axes of the city, with a little river and Parque Balmaceda running along it nearby. I wandered around a bit last night, it looks, nice, calm and safe.

My building is a 26-floor high apartment building, not as ugly as it might sound, one side is red bricks, the other white, round shaped balconies…

The nearby park stretches along this yet unknown river (I have to start my research) and has a couple of pedestrian bridges, one high arched bridge being covered with metal locks and lots of graffiti, with young people having picnics on top…

I have a couple of restaurants downstairs right under my building, but funnily they were closing already (ok, it was 11, on a Wednesday) so I made myself some Spaghetti alio&olio with the stuff I still found in the apartment.

First thing now though: a supermarket!
