Mid-october already… Which means: I’m heading to Asia. But first, a short stop-over in Chicago, for technical reasons.
On paper, I could have made the connection from Mexico on to the United flight to Hong Kong in Chicago. But with only 1h25 in between flights, it seemed too tight.
Anyone who has waited ages at US immigration knows that such a short connection might work for an American citizen, but not for us foreigners who need to get screened, photographed, finger printed and questioned.
So I decided to take a one-day stop in Chicago. After all, I was here in 2008, loved it, but missed out on a big part of the Art Museum, due to renovations. So here’s my second chance.
Here are the details:
Flight 29 to Chicago
Date: 14/10/2014
Code: UA474 from MEX to ORD
Airline: United Airlines
Plane: Airbus 320
Distance flown: 1810 Miles
