I got up at 5.45 in the morning, in time for the pre-sale of Madonna tickets in a couple of European cities. Ticket panic!
As usual, the first day of a pre-sale went horribly wrong.
Links that were supposed to work at a certain time were not activated yet, and fans were in panic… until someone found a backdoor to the pre-sale, and the word started to spread.
But bit by bit, the websites went online and I managed to get a couple of tickets for me and some friends, for the shows in Paris, Antwerp and Amsterdam.
You don’t want to see me in that state, cursing and panicking…
Finally, when the sale for Miami – the very first show – opened, I managed to get a top-notch seat close to the stage, for a top-notch price.
So I guess the question of my summer holiday is also settled.
I have run out of money, so I guess you wonder how I paid for it all… Well, a few friends helped out with their bottomless US Credit cards, and I’ll wire them the money once I have a salary again.
The sales could not have come at a worse time though. But at least it gave me something to look forward to, to plan and organize, for when the trip is over.
