Aaaaand…. here we go, Sven has arrived and I have moved into total luxury.

A nice 2 bedroom apartment in Tamboerskloof, a fancy Cape Town neighborhood at the foot of the Lion’s Head, including a balcony with a view over town.

It’s something I could NEVER afford on my by now dwindling budget.

 

We first went to do some grocery shopping: wine, bubbles, and other vital stuff, and then headed out for the Sónar Cape Town Electronic Music Festival, to see the Pet Shop Boys!

We had VIP access on the mezzanine level and a great view. Ok, they have aged a bit but the show is still as over the top as ever.

Costumes worthy of Gaga, new songs mixed with old.

All Cape Town Boys were there to witness them bringing the house down with West End Girls and It’s a sin.
